Shannon Mulvey

Miss Shannon Mulvey is thrilled to be sharing her passion for dance with the students here at LAD! Shannon graduated from Stevenson High School where she was a member of the Varsity Patriettes and Concert Dance Company. She received her training from LAD and various studios in Chicago. Shannon received her BFA in Dance from Jacksonville University as a Merit Scholarship Student. While at Jacksonville, Shannon received a nomination for a Princess Grace Scholarship as well as a Certificate of Achievement from the National Council of Undergraduate Research. She performed in numerous countries including Germany, Netherland Antilles and Costa Rica. Shannon has performed choreography for numerous master teachers including pieces for LAD instructor Ms. Katie McCann’s Dance in the Parks during the summer of 2010, as well as performing in Dance Chance Relux. Shannon performed in Cats with Theo Ubique Theatre as well as The king and I with Porchlight Music Company. Shannon is excited for another great year at Lincolnshire Academy of Dance!
