A Massachusetts native, Izzy Fontane began her dance training at the age of three at Ballet Arts
Worcester. When she moved to Illinois in 2013, she trained with Lincolnshire Academy of Dance
for a year and then rejoined the studio for her senior year of high school in 2019 for their
Pre-Professional Program. During her hiatus with LAD, Izzy was a member of the Melange and
Concert Dance Companies at Stevenson High School from 2016-2020, and held the position of
President of the National Honor Society for the Dance Arts from 2019-2020. Izzy was also a
company member of Ballet Theater Illinois, performing in Carnival of the Animals (Olivia, lead)
and Swan Lake (swan and princess, corps). From 2020 to 2024 she attended Bradley University
and earned her Bachelors of Science in Marketing with a concentration in Social Media and two
minors in PR/Advertising and Entrepreneurship. At Bradley, Izzy was a team member of the
Bradley University Bravettes Dance Team for four years, and team captain her senior year for
the 2023-24 season. She was also the team’s social media manager from 2022-24. Post
graduation, Izzy will attend the University of Illinois at Chicago for their Masters of Science in
Marketing program and eventually she hopes to start her own marketing agency, as well as
dance for a professional sports team.
Izzy is so excited to join LAD as an instructor and share her love of dance!
