Modern and Hip Hop Class percussionist
Chris is a full time hand percussionist and started playing professionally at the age of 14. After meeting and studying traditional Afro Cuban and West African rhythms under his teacher Chico Perez, Columbia College brought him to Chicago and he can now be found playing many different styles of music since, big stages and small. Chris is thrilled to be back at LAD another year accompanying for Modern and Hip Hop classes with collaborator and friend Nick Ugo!
