Ricky Tiongson is a multifaceted dancer, training in a diverse range of styles such contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, pom, ballet, technique, and acrobatics. Ricky began his training on Stevenson High School’s dance team in Lincolnshire, Illinois. As a member of the dance team, Ricky holds a state title in Illinois and two national titles at the Dance Team Union National Championship. Ricky was a member of the choreography team at Stevenson, assisting in the creation of contemporary, hip hop, and pom routines that were performed at competitions and on the football field. In his senior year, Ricky was captain of the team, earned the “Big Gun” award, and was named a part of the North Suburban Conference All-Conference team. From 2023 to 2024, Ricky attended the University of Michigan where he was on track to pursue a BFA in Dance. Ricky trained in ballet, hip hop, modern, and composition in his daily classes. At Michigan, Ricky was a part of Dance 2XS Michigan, a pre-professional co-ed hip hop group. With 2XS, Ricky has showcased his skills at major events, including the Urbanite International Dance Showcase in Champaign-Urbana and Chicago for the past year. Recently, his crew won the prestigious Golden Ticket for the World of Dance Championship. In September of 2025, Ricky will be moving to London to pursue a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at Urdang – City, University of London.
